The natural sweetness of the dates and bananas combined with milk in this recipe provides the adequate amount of calcium and protein to our body and helps in bone strengthening .
STEP 1.1. wash the dates well with water, drain and deseed each date fruit by carefully slitting on one side of the date using a sharp knife and pulling out the seed and discarding it .
STEP 2.2.Soak 1/4th of the deseeded dates in enough warm water for 15 minutes.
STEP 3.3. Add the soaked dates in a mixer - grinder jar .
STEP 4.4.Add 1 cup milk and 1/2 cup chopped bananas into the mixer- grinder jar.
STEP 5.5. Add 5 ice cubes into the dates ,milk, banana smoothie mixture and blend them together.
STEP 6.6. Your banana dates smoothie is ready to be served.
