Ingredients for Sabu dana paratha Recipe

  • 1/4 cup sago (Sabu dana dry roasted and powdered).
  • 0.38 cups boiled and grated potatoes.
  • 0-1/4 nos finely chopped green chili.
  • 1/4 nos finely chopped small ginger knob .
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin seed(jeera).
  • As required Rock salt .
  • As required finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • As required Water .
  • As required Ghee.

Directions: Sabu Dana Paratha Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. In a pan, dry roast one cup sago on low heat. Transfer it to a plate .
  • STEP 2.2.Let it cool down and then grind it into a fine powder in a grinder jar. Take out a handful of Sabu dana flour for later use.
  • STEP 3.3.add 1.5 cup boiled and grated potatoes to the sabu dana flour.
  • STEP 4.4.Add 2-3 finely chopped green chili to the Sabu dana flour.
  • STEP 5.5. Add 1 finely chopped small ginger knob to the Sabu dana flour .
  • STEP 6.6. Add 1 teaspoon cumin seed into the Sabu dana flour.
  • STEP 7.7.Add rock salt to the Sabu dana flour mixture.
  • STEP 8.8. Add finely chopped coriander leaves into the Sabu dana flour mixture.
  • STEP 9.9.Knead a dough by mixing all the above ingredients together and keep aside for 10 minutes .
  • STEP 10.10.After 10 minutes , add a little water in the dough and knead again to make it soft .
  • STEP 11.11.Roll out a few dough balls out of the dough.
  • STEP 12.12. Dip it into dry flour one by one .
  • STEP 13.13. Gently roll it with the help of a rolling pin .
  • STEP 14.14. Place them one by one on the hot pan . cook them on medium heat .
  • STEP 15.15.Flip the paratha and apply ghee on it .
  • STEP 16.16.Once it is golden brown on one side ,flip to the other side and apply ghee on it .
  • STEP 17.17. When done , transfer to a plate . Enjoy Sabu dana paratha with chutney as a snack or a breakfast .
