Ingredients for Magaj Ladoo Recipe

  • 0.29 cups Wheat flour -
  • 0.14 cup Ghee -
  • 0.14 cups Powdered sugar - ½
  • 0.14 tsp Cardamom powder -
  • 0-0.14 nos Cloves -
  • 0-0.57 nos Black pepper

Directions: Magaj Ladoo Recipe

  • STEP 1.Process- 1.Switch on the gas stove . Put a pan on the burner . When the pan gets heated, add 1 cup ghee into the pan , when the ghee starts melting , add 2 cups of wheat flour. Fry it for 5-6 mins till the raw smell of the wheat flour is gone and make sure there are no lumps. Fry it on low medium flame till the wheat flour has turned golden brown in color . Once the wheat flour has turned golden brown . It is perfectly ready to make magaj ladoo. Remove the wheat flour to a plate
  • STEP 2.Then proceed to make the sugar syrup. To make sugar syrup , add 1/1/2 cup of powdered sugar and add little water into it.
  • STEP 3.Add 1 tsp cardamom seeds and 2-3 cloves in powdered form into the sugar syrup. add 4 black pepper in powdered form also .you can also add these powdered ingredients to the wheat flour ghee mixture if you wish .
  • STEP 4.Once the sugar is dissolved and starts boiling , Check for the sugar syrup consistency . One string consistency should be the ideal consistency of the sugar syrup .Once the sugar syrup has attained one - string consistency . switch off the flame . remove the pan from the burner containing the sugar syrup .
  • STEP 5.in the same pan containing the sugar syrup ,now add 2 cups of fried wheat flour and make sure there are no lumps and mix well till it starts leaving the sides and turning into a mass .
  • STEP 6.Once it starts leaving the sides and turning into a mass like consistency . Switch off the flame .
  • STEP 7.The wheat flour sugar syrup mixture should not take more than 2-3 mins to become a mass.
  • STEP 8.8.Once it becomes a mass , drop it on a ghee greased plate . Spread it evenly on the plate . Leave it for 10-15 minutes . roll out even balls out of the mixture from the plate .
  • STEP 9.*Note - After adding fried wheat flour to the sugar syrup, do not keep stirring for more than 2-3 mins . Once it starts leaving the sides take out immediately, otherwise the magaj ladoo will turn hard .
  • STEP 10.*Keep the flame low -medium throughout the preparation.
