  • 62.50 nos Wheat flour - gm.
  • 25 gm Melted jaggery - .
  • As required Powdered spices pounded with mortar and pestle such as:
  • 1/4 tbsp Fennel seeds powder - .
  • 1 nos black peppers.
  • 1/2 nos Green cardamom.
  • As required A pinch of salt .
  • 0.13 tbsp ghee .
  • As required Refined oil .
  • As required Water .

  • STEP 1.1. To begin with this recipe, pound 1 tbsp fennel seed,4 black peppers, 2 green cardamoms into a fine powder with the help of a mortar and pestle and keep it aside.
  • STEP 2.2. Next , proceed to make the batter for the pancake .
  • STEP 3.3. To make a batter for the pancake , take a bowl, add 250 gm wheat flour, 100 gm melted jaggery and a pinch of salt into it .
  • STEP 4.4.Add all the pounded powdered fennel seed, black pepper and cardamoms into the batter. Add 1/2 tbsp ghee into it and whisk well with the required amount of water. Keep aside for 25 mins .
  • STEP 5.5. Then , switch on the gas stove . Heat a pan .When heated ,add 1 tsp of refined oil into the pan and smear all the sides of the pan .
  • STEP 6.6. When the refined oil gets heated , pour the ladleful of premixed wheat flour batter into the pan and spread it evenly on the pan with the back side of a ladle or a spoon, whichever is available with you .
  • STEP 7.7.Flip the sides of the pancake until done .When done , transfer it to a plate and allow it to cool down a little bit & enjoy with your family .
