Ingredients for Sabu dana paratha Recipe

  • As required Ingredients-
  • 1/4 cup Sabu dana (dry roasted and powdered).
  • 0.38 cups boiled and grated potatoes.
  • 0-1/4 nos finely chopped green chilies.
  • 1/4 nos finely chopped small ginger knob.
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seed (jeera).
  • As required rock salt.
  • As required finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • As required water .
  • As required Ghee.

Directions: Sabu Dana Paratha Recipe

  • STEP 1.1.In a pan, dry roast one cup sabu dana on slow heat. transfer it to a plate .
  • STEP 2.2.Let it cool down and then grind them in a mixer - grinder to a fine powder. Keep aside a handful of the sabu dana flour for later use .
  • STEP 3.3.Add 1.5 cups boiled and grated potatoes to the sabu dana flour.
  • STEP 4.4.Add 2-3 finely chopped green chili to the Sabu dana flour.
  • STEP 5.5.Add one finely chopped small ginger knob to the Sabu dana flour.
  • STEP 6.6. Add one teaspoon cumin seeds to the sabu dana flour.
  • STEP 7.7. Add rock salt and finely chopped coriander leaves to the sabu dana flour .
  • STEP 8.8. Knead a dough by mixing all the above ingredients well and keep aside for 10 minutes .
  • STEP 9.9.After 10 mins add a little water to the dough and knead again to make it soft .
  • STEP 10.10.Roll out a few dough balls out of the dough .
  • STEP 11.11. Dip them into dry flour one by one.
  • STEP 12.12. Gently roll it with the help of a rolling pin .
  • STEP 13.13.Place it on a hot pan and cook it on medium flame .
  • STEP 14.14.Flip the paratha and apply ghee on it.
  • STEP 15.15. Once it's golden brown on both sides .Transfer it to a plate.
  • STEP 16.16. Now the Sabu dana paratha is ready to be served . Enjoy with chutney as a snack or a breakfast .
