#fried Traditional Popular delicious hot savoury snacks from Gujarati cuisine.. moongdal bhajiya popularly known as vateli dal na bhajiya prepared with soaked split green moongdal and spices and deep fry . In olden times to prepare this bhajiya/ pakoras .. soaked green moongdal was crushed to coarse mixture/batter in big stone pestle and mortar. Vateli means crushed in Gujarati. In modern times we use hand blender or grind in mixer jar to make pakora/ bhajiya batter.
