We may have relish spinach leaves, fenugreek leaves pakoda.. here I created crispy pakoda from colocasia leaf (Patra na paan) for evening snack .
STEP 1.Wash and pat dry colocasia leaf. Remove middle veins by sharp knife.
STEP 2.Cut rectangular pieces from colocasia leaf.
STEP 3.In mixing bowl add besan, tumeric powder, red chilli powder, asafoetida, sesame seeds and salt.Add enough water to make medium thick pakoda batter.
STEP 4.Heat oil for frying. Add soda bi carb in besan batter and mix well.
STEP 5.Dip each chopped colocasia leaf piece in besan batter, drop gently in hot oil.
STEP 6.Deep fry in hot oil till crispy golden.
STEP 7.Similarly prepared All.
STEP 8.Serve/ Relish delicious and crispy hot Colocasia leaf pakoda with tea or coffee.
