Arvi leaves are rich source of protein dietary fibers and lots of minerals. Arvi leaves, roots are consumed widely and used in many cooking preparations. In maharashtra it is popularly called as aluchi pane and variety of dishes prepared using them.

  • 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 0.06 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.38 teaspoon Grated jaggery
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coarsely ground fresh ginger
  • 1/2 Coarsely ground green chillies
  • 3/4 Coarsely ground garlic cloves
  • As required Salt
  • 1/4 tablespoon oil – + 2tbsp for tempering and shallow frying
  • 1/4-1/2 As required Water tbsp or for kneading
  • 3/4-1 For tempering – Curry leaves
  • 0.13 tablespoon White Sesame Seeds
  • 0.13 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 0.06 teaspoon Asafoetida
