Thalipeeth is a authentic maharashtrian breakfast/snack. Have used spinach leaves and combined with various flours and spices to make this healthy spinach thalipeeth. Also this can be made easily and quickly too!!!
STEP 2.Add chopped spinach leaves, chopped onions, chopped coriander leaves, chopped green chillies, chopped garlic cloves, cumin seeds, chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt to taste to flour mixture.
STEP 3.Mix all the ingredients well, adding water little by little to make a tight and pliable dough. Cover the dough and set aside for 5 minutes. Add a little oil and knead a bit.
STEP 4.Now take some dough and place it between two plastic sheets. Start pressing it gently to form a circle. Using your fingers to pat the dough to form a circle and make a hole in the center.
STEP 5.Gently take the disc in your palm and carefully place it on the pan. Place it on heated iron tava brushed with oil. Flip when half cooked and let the other side get cooked till it becomes golden brown.
STEP 6.Serve the ready thalipeeth with homemade pickle and green chillies.
