This is a mangolicious cake there are no added colours or flavours except the vanilla essence. This cake has one layer of whipped cream and tutti frutti, next layer of whipped cream and fresh fruits. Finally topped with mango rose. The whipped cream has fresh mango pulp added to get the lovely yellow colour.

Ingredients for Dilwala Mango Mastani Cake Recipe

  • 0.16 cup All purpose flour
  • 0.06 tsp Baking soda
  • 0.13 tsp Baking powder
  • 25 g Condensed milk
  • 12.50 g Melted butter
  • 0.13 tbsp Sugar
  • 0.06 cup water
  • 0.06 tbsp Vanilla essence
  • 0.03 cup Sugar syrup
  • 0.06 cup Whipping cream
  • 0.06 Cup Fresh Alphanso mango pulp
  • 1/4 tbsp tutti frutti of red, yellow and green colour
  • 0.06 Tbsp fresh fruits cut into pieces (chikoo, mango, kiwis)

Directions: Dilwala Mango Mastani Cake Recipe

  • STEP 1.Pre-heat oven for 10 minutes at 180°C.
  • STEP 2.Sift all the dry ingredients (All-purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda) 3-4 times.
  • STEP 3.In another container add condensed milk, butter, water and essence. Microwave this mixture on high for a minute. Add sugar to it and mix it well.
  • STEP 4.Add dry ingredients mixture slowly to the wet mixture in three parts. Mix slowly to get smooth batter but don't over mix.
  • STEP 5.Pour the batter into a greased heart shaped cake tin and bake it for approximately 50-55 minutes or till the toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • STEP 6.After it is baked cool it on wire rack.
  • STEP 7.Keep a vessel in which whipped cream is to be whipped and the rods of hand beater used for whipping, in the freezer for an hour.
  • STEP 8.Now take the whipping cream in the vessel kept in the freezer. Keep a ice bath below the vessel.
  • STEP 9.Whip for about 2 mins and then add some mango pulp to the cream and whip again for some time. Add the pulp little by little and keep whipping.
  • STEP 10.Initially whip at slow speed till soft peaks are formed. After the soft peaks are formed whip at highest speed till stiff peaks are formed.
  • STEP 11.Now cut the heart shaped cake sponge into three parts horizontally. Cut the bump formed on the top.
  • STEP 12.Take cake board and spread some whipped cream on it and place one of pieces of the sponge on it. Soak the sponge cake properly with sugar syrup.
  • STEP 13.Now apply whipped cream layer and sprinkle the tutti frutti on it.
  • STEP 14.Now cover this with other piece of sponge cake. Soak this layer with sugar syrup properly. Now spread the whipped cream and spread the fruits properly on it.
  • STEP 15.Cover this with the last piece of cake sponge and soak it with sugar syrup. Now give a crumb coating with whipped cream and keep it in the fridge for an hour.
  • STEP 16.Now finally coat the cake with whipped cream fully. Now make whipped cream rossettes and top with red coloured tutti frutti.
  • STEP 17.Using thin mango slices make roses from it and keep it in the centre of the cake. Sprinkle the tutti frutti between mango rose and whipped cream rossettes. On top of the cake scope out a small mango piece. Decorate around the scoped mango with whipped cream.
  • STEP 18.On the sides of the cake make a small layer of tutti frutti and the layer of mango slices and kiwi pieces. The mangolicious cake is ready to serve!
