STEP 1.First, switch on the gas. Put a kadai on the burner . When the kadai gets heated. .Add 2 tbsp ghee into it .When the ghee gets melted , pour 250 gm medium sized semolina into the kadai and fry on medium heat till it is golden brown in color . When done, transfer it to a bowl and keep it aside for cooling .
STEP 2..When the semolina gets cooled , add 1/2 cup milk and a little water to soak and leave it aside for 20 mins in order to allow the semolina to absorb the water and milk mixture .
STEP 3. Then take 1 full ripe banana and peel the skin . mash the full ripe banana in a dish with the backside of a fork or a spoon, whichever is available with you. Add the mashed ripe banana to the cake batter. Add a pinch of cardamom powder, and a pinch of black pepper powder and a handful of chopped cashews and a handful of raisins for extra flavor . Then add 150gm powdered sugar, a pinch of salt and mix them properly.
STEP 4.Transfer the batter to a container to steam it in a steamer with its lid covered for 20 minutes on medium flame . When steamed,
STEP 5.remove the container from the flame and garnish it with 3 dried kiwis, 5-6 munakka and 4 cashews . eggless steamed semolina banana cake is ready for you to enjoy!
STEP 6. Lastly, cut the cake into pieces with a knife .Have a treat for yourself and your family .
