Ingredients For Russian Salad Cold Sandwich Recipe
8 pieces Bread slices
as required Amul butter
A Few Few salad leaves
1 cup hung curd
0.5 cup Grated cabbage
0.5 cup Grated cucumber
0.5 cup Finely chopped fresh pineapple
0.5 cup finely chopped green grapes
0.25 cup Pomegranate pearls
2 tsp Sugar powder
1 tsp Black pepper powder
as required Salt as required
a few Salad leaves
as required Tomato sauce
as required Potato chips
Directions : Russian Salad Cold Sandwich Recipe
STEP 1.To make Russian salad filling,grate cabbage and soak in ice-cold water for 10 mins. After 10 mins strain and pat dry grated cabbage,keep aside.Grate cucumber and by pressing between palms remove water from it.keep aside. Chopped pineapple and green grapes. Keep ready all ingredients needed for filling.
STEP 2.In mixing bowl add hung curd and all ingredients mentioned for filling. Mix well.
STEP 3.Apply butter on all bread slices on one side. Take one buttered bread slice,place salad leaves,on it spread prepared Russian salad filling..as shown. Cover with other buttered bread slice. Similarly prepared all sandwiches.
STEP 4.Wrap all prepared sandwiches in wet cloth. Keep refrigerated for few hours.
STEP 5.At the time of serving,cut the sides of prepared cold sandwich. Cut into desired shape (rectangular,square or triangular shape).
STEP 6.Serve/ Relish Russian Salad Cold Sandwich with tomato sauce and potato chips.
