Directions : Manga Pori Recipe

Preparation Directions

STEP 1.Peel and cut the mango into medium sized cubes.

Cooking Directions

STEP 1.Take a bowl and 3tbsp maida, 1tbsp corn flour, 1½ tbsp sugar, a pinch turmeric powder, a pinch of salt and mix well.
STEP 2.Gradually add some water (approx ¾ cup)and mix well to make the batter.
STEP 3.Heat oil in a kadai. Dip the mango pieces in the batter and gently put it to oil. Fry it in batches. Make sure to fry it in medium flame.
STEP 4.When both sides are done frying, transfer it to a paper towel. Manga pori is ready now.

Special Comments

STEP 1.Wheat flour can be used instead of maida.
STEP 2.Sugar is optional.
