Ingredients for Manga Pori Recipe

  • 1/2 No.s Ripe Mango
  • 1.50 tablespoon Maida
  • 1/2 tablespoon Cornflour
  • As required Salt
  • 3/4 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 0.38 cup Water
  • As required Oil For Frying

Preparation Directions

  • STEP 1.Peel and cut the mango into medium sized cubes.

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Take a bowl and 3tbsp maida, 1tbsp corn flour, 1½ tbsp sugar, a pinch turmeric powder, a pinch of salt and mix well.
  • STEP 2.Gradually add some water (approx ¾ cup)and mix well to make the batter.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a kadai. Dip the mango pieces in the batter and gently put it to oil. Fry it in batches. Make sure to fry it in medium flame.
  • STEP 4.When both sides are done frying, transfer it to a paper towel. Manga pori is ready now.

Special Comments

  • STEP 1.Wheat flour can be used instead of maida.
  • STEP 2.Sugar is optional.
