STEP 1.Then add the ginger paste, garlic paste, and cumin paste, saute them well. Later add the spices- 1tsp turmeric powder, 1tsp chili powder, coriander powder, and salt to taste.

STEP 1.Sprinkle; some water and saute them again. Now add the fried fish and give it the right mix.

STEP 1.Add the roasted dal and mix it well with the masala and fish. Then add 1-2 cups of water and mix them thoroughly.

STEP 1.Cover it and stir it occasionally and cover it again. Once all the flavors are enhanced and the rice is cooked.

STEP 1.Mix all of them very well and cook it for more 5mins. Turn off the gas. Serve it with steamed rice and enjoy.
