STEP 1.1 heat some oil in a pan and add chopped onion, green onion, garlic and stir cook for about 4 minutes.
STEP 2.2 pour in the soaked beans and add enough water to cover the beans.
STEP 3.3 bring it to boil and simmer uncovered for 2 hours on medium flame.
STEP 4.4 in a pan take ham hock, chopped onion and cover it with water.
STEP 5.5 cover the ham hock mixture with water and cook for an hour.
STEP 6.6 once cooked, drain the extra water and add the cooked beans in it.
STEP 7.7 preheat the oven at 375 f.
STEP 8.8 place bacon, ham and onions on a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes in order to make them crispy.
STEP 9.9 drain the excess water from bacon and ham mixture.
STEP 10.10 season it with bay leaves, coriander salt and pepper.
STEP 11.11 add besan to it and simmer for 30 minutes.
