Directions : Aktori/Himachali Millet Pancake Recipe

step 1

STEP 1.in a large mixing bowl add 1 cup whole wheat flour (atta), 1 cup buckwheat flour, 4 tsp sugar, 1 tsp baking powder and mix the dry ingredients together.

STEP 1.to the dry ingredients, add ½ cup milk and ½ cup water and mix to make a thick pouring batter.

STEP 2.preheat a pan on low heat and grease the tawa with a little oil. ladle some batter on to the pan and spread it to make a thick pancake. The quantities mentioned will make upto 4 pancakes.

STEP 3.cook on low till bubbles appear on the surface. When the underside of the pancake is cooked flip it over and cook on the other side. When both sides are golden brown the aktori is eady.
