STEP 1.1- in a bowl take all purpose flour, 1/4 tsp salt , 1tsp oil and add sufficient water and knead medium soft dough. Cover and keep aside.
STEP 2.2- wash and drain moong dal and pressure cook along with salt , turmaric powder and 3 cup of water. After 3 whistles open the lid when the pressure is completely released.
STEP 3.3- Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan. Add hing and cumin seeds. When it's crackled add chopped green chili, garam masala and red chili powder. Stir and pour over the cooked dal. Sprinkle amchur powder and keep it cover.
STEP 4.4- now make medium sized balls from prepared all purpose flour. Make big poori with rolling pin as thin as possible.With the help of katori make small sized pakwan and prick with a fork . It helps your pakwaan not to puff like poori.
STEP 5.5- Heat great amount of oil and fry each pakwaan over medium flame. Fry till it turns golden brown in color. Keep it in a plate. Serve hot pakwaan with dal, chopped onion, tomato and lemon.. Along with some fresh fruits .
