A healthy crispy and sweet snack made from puffed rice, jaggery and ghee.Easy and quick to prepare.Less sweet in taste.Yummy and delicious while eating.This recipe can also be prepared in home.
STEP 1.Heat a pan and add ¼ tsp ghee. Add 200-250gm jaggery and 1 tbsp water. Allow it to melt and boil in low flame.
STEP 2.Filter the jaggery syrup.
STEP 3.Take a bowl with some water. Pour a few drops of jaggery syrup. If the drops do not dissolve then it means the jaggery syrup is ready.
STEP 4.Turn off the flame and add 100gm puffed rice(pori). Mix well.
STEP 5.When the heat becomes manageable, take a small portion of the mixture and make balls. Do the same for the rest of the mixture.
STEP 6.Pori unda is ready to be served.
