Ingredients For MP Mawa Bati Recipe

1 Cup Khoya(Mawa)
0.25 Tsp Baking Soda (soda bi-carbonate)
0.5 Cups maida (APF)
0.5 Cups Mixed dry fruits
0.5 Tsp Green cardamom powder
1 Cup sugar (chini)
0.5 Cup Water. As per requirement
1 Tsp lemon juice (fresh)

Step-by-Step Instructions

STEP 1.In a pan, add sugar and water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until it forms a one-string consistency. Add cardamom powder and lemon juice and turn off the heat. Keep it warm for later use.

STEP 1.In a bowl, mix mawa, flour, and baking soda until well combined. Knead into a soft dough. If it's too dry, add a few drops of milk. Divide the dough into equal portions and stuff each ball with chopped dry fruits.

STEP 2.Heat ghee or oil in a pan over low-medium heat. Deep fry the mawa bati until golden brown and crispy. Drain excess oil and transfer directly into the warm sugar syrup.

STEP 3.Allow the bati to soak for 30 minutes to absorb the flavors. Serve warm, garnished with extra dry fruits and a drizzle of syrup.
