STEP 1.In a large mixing bow take 1 cup wheat flour and 1cup all-purpose flour also add 1 tsp ajwain, 1 tsp dry fenugreek leaves and 1/2 tsp salt or to taste and oil and mix well.
STEP 2.Now add luckwarm water slowly and start to knead the dough.knead the dough well, until form stiff and tight. Keep the dough aside covered for 15 minutes.
STEP 3.Divide the dough into 2 equal parts and make ball.Take one ball and roll it into a thin chaptai on a rolling board.using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the circle into quarters. Again, cut each quarter in half, like pizza into a triangle shape. fold it to shape like Croissants and join its edges.
STEP 4.Similarly shape the rest of the dough.
STEP 5.Heat oil in a deep pan on medium flame. When the oil is sufficiently hot add a few salty bites at a time and fry them on low-medium flame for 7-8 minutes or until crisp and golden in colour. drain them on a kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
STEP 6.Sprinkle chaat masala on the prepared salty bites Allow salty bites to cool to room temperature and store them into an airtight container.You can serve with tea or as a snack
