Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix together gram flour, chili powder, turmeric, cumin, salt, and water to make a smooth batter.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions, potatoes, or spinach to the batter and mix well to coat the vegetables.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer.
  • STEP 4.Drop spoonfuls of the batter-coated vegetables into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 5.Remove the Chilli Bites from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup for dipping.
