STEP 1.1. Take a bowl, add 2 cups all purpose flour ( maida), 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp Ajwain, 1/4 tbsp red chilly powder, 2 tbsp ghee and mix all the ingredients properly.
STEP 2.2. Make a slightly crumbled texture, start kneading the dough, add little water at a time and make a stiff dough.
STEP 3.3. Leave it for 20 mins.
STEP 4.4. After 20 mins, take a ball size dough, and make a semi- thick disc.
STEP 5.5. Take a small katori and cut it into 5 pieces in circular shape.
STEP 6.6. Now arrange these 5 rings one by one by applying little water at the end of each circle and press it gently.
STEP 7.7. Now roll it tightly and spread the petals gently to make a rose.
STEP 8.8. For deep frying, oil should not be too hot. Let it fry for 20 minutes till it get golden.
STEP 9.9. After 20 minutes, take out matri from oil.
STEP 10.10. Ready to serve.
