Ingredients for Sweet Mathri Recipe

  • 41.67 gram Flour
  • 10.42 gram Ghee
  • 41.67 gram Sugar
  • 0.08 tablespoon Milk
  • As required Ghee to fry

Directions: Sweet Mathri Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1. take flour and ghee in a bowl and gradually add some warm water to it in order to make a soft dough. Keep this dough aside for 30 minutes.

  • STEP 1. make some balls out of this dough and cover them with a wet cloth. Set it aside for 30 minutes.

step 3

  • STEP 1. roll the mathris flat using a rolling pin and poke some holes in it. heat ghee in a pan and fry the mathris well till they turn crisp.

step 4

  • STEP 1. take the mathris out and let them cool for a while. in a pan take sugar and a glass of water.

step 5

  • STEP 1.cook it for 6-7 minutes till the sugar dissolves completely and it comes to a thick syrup like consistency.

step 6

  • STEP 1. dip your mathris in this syrup and let them cool so that the syrup will get crystallised.
