STEP 2.Drain out the water and grind it in a mixer grinder to obtain the batter.
STEP 3.Preheat the pappads under direct sunlight for half an hour.
Cooking Directions
STEP 1.Add to the batter, ¼ tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of chilli powder, 1 ½ tbsp sesame seeds, ½ tsp of cumin seeds and a pinch of salt.
STEP 2.Whisk the batter well.
STEP 3.Then add 1 tsp of chilli flakes and a pinch of asafoetida.
STEP 4.Pour in ½ cult of water and stir well the mixture to obtain a loose consistency. Set aside the batter for half an hour.
STEP 5.In a deep fry pan heat cooking oil.
STEP 6.Dip and coat each pappad with the batter. Fry it in the pan. Flip the sides till both sides are golden brown shade.
STEP 7.Then, transfer the pappads to the serving plate. Repeat the same procedure for the rest of the pappads.
