  • STEP 1.Soak the lentils in water for a few hours and then drain them.
  • STEP 2.Grind the lentils along with onions, green chilies, and curry leaves to make a thick batter.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a deep pan and drop small portions of the batter into the hot oil.
  • STEP 4.Fry the vadas until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 5.Remove the vadas from the oil and drain them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  • STEP 6.Serve the Vada Papu hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
