Ingredients for Pappadam Mezhukupuratti Recipe

  • 12 No.s Pappad cut lengthwise
  • 20 No.s Shallots
  • 2 sprig Curry leaves
  • 6 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoon Chilly powder

Directions: Pappadam Mezhukupuratti Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.heat 6 tsp coconut oil in a deep fry pan. Fry the sliced pappad.

step 2

  • STEP 1.set another pan on the stove. Turn on the flame and transfer the leftover oil to this pan for further cooking.

step 3

  • STEP 1.crush the shallots in a grinder and transfer them to the pan.

step 4

  • STEP 1.add 1 sprig of curry leaves and saute till the shallots start turning pale brown.

step 5

  • STEP 1.add a very slight pinch of salt and 2 tsp of chili powder. Continue to saute till the raw smell of chilly is lost.

step 6

  • STEP 1.turn off the flame and add in the fried pappads into the pan.

step 7

  • STEP 1.stir and coat the gravy over the pappad. Garnish with a few curry leaves.
