1 medium sized ripe mango
1 tablespoon lime sized ball of tamrind or 1 1/2 tamrind paste
2 dry red chillies
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
0.5 teaspoon methi/fenugreek seeds
2 teaspoon oil for tempering
As required Salt
1 teaspoon turmeric powder/haldi
2 tablespoon sambar powder
pinch asafoetida/hing
0.5 cup cooked toor dal
