Bengali banana fitters is a crispy sweet snack recipe. It is prepared from a batter of mashed bananas, scrapped coconut, rice flour, wheat flour and jaggery.
STEP 1.Mash the bananas using a masher or your hands. it is better to use over ripe bananas to make bora.
STEP 1. Add scrapped coconut, whole wheat flour and rice flour and also salt to a lump free banana mash.
STEP 1. Add jaggery as well.
STEP 1.Mix to make a thick batter. If the batter turns out to be slimy add some more wheat flour to adjust the consistency.
STEP 1.Take a pan and heat some oil, once properly heated, keep the flame on the lower side.
STEP 1.Now pour a dollop of the batter using a spoon or your fingers.
STEP 1.You can deep fry the fritters per batch using a spoon.
STEP 1.Fry the bora from both sides until its golden brown and crispy.
STEP 1.Strain the oil and place the fritters over a tissue paper.
STEP 1.Fritters are ready. Serve hot.
