A spicy Kerala style beef curry.It is a type of malabar meat curry roasted in coconut paste.It is one of the most famous traditional dishes in Kerala.This recipe is simple,delicious and spicy in taste.This recipe is easy to made.
STEP 2.Marinate the beef with 1tsp kashmiri red chili powder,¼ tsp turmeric powder,½ tsp garam masala, 1tsp ground peppercorns
STEP 3.Heat 1tbsp coconut oil in a frying pan , add shredded coconut, 1tsp fennel seeds, curry leaves, 1tbsp shallots and ground it .
STEP 4.Add the grounded mixed spices with the marinated beef in a pressure cooker and cook it until 3 whistles on low medium
STEP 5.Heat 1tbsp oil in a cooking vessel, add 2 cups chopped onions and shallots, 2 green chilies, curry leaves and fry it for 2 mins
STEP 6.Add 1tsp crushed ginger and garlic , fry till it gets golden
STEP 7.Add 1tsp kashmiri red chili powder,1tsp coriander powder,½ tsp ground peppercorns , mix well
STEP 8.Add 1 cup of diced tomato mix well,
STEP 9.Add the cooked beef and mix well with masala
STEP 10.Add 1 cup of hot water and cook for 5mins
STEP 11.Add ½ tsp garam masala and mix well
STEP 12.Add more curry leaves and grounded spices 1tsp , cook it for 5mins until the curry gets thick
STEP 13.Serve with bread or rice
