  • 1 kilogram Beef
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon grounded peppercorns
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • As required Shredded coconut
  • 1 cup Shallots chopped
  • As required Curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds
  • 1 cup Chopped onions
  • 2 green chilies
  • As required Diced coconut
  • 2 teaspoon Crushed ginger and garlic
  • 1 cup Diced tomato
  • 1 glass hot water

How to Make Erachi Varutharacha Curry Recipe

STEP 01

Cut and wash the beef properly

STEP 02

Marinate the beef with 1tsp kashmiri red chili powder,¼ tsp turmeric powder,½ tsp garam masala, 1tsp ground peppercorns

STEP 03

Heat 1tbsp coconut oil in a frying pan , add shredded coconut, 1tsp fennel seeds, curry leaves, 1tbsp shallots and ground it .

STEP 04

Add the grounded mixed spices with the marinated beef in a pressure cooker and cook it until 3 whistles on low medium

STEP 05

Heat 1tbsp oil in a cooking vessel, add 2 cups chopped onions and shallots, 2 green chilies, curry leaves and fry it for 2 mins

STEP 06

Add 1tsp crushed ginger and garlic , fry till it gets golden

STEP 07

Add 1tsp kashmiri red chili powder,1tsp coriander powder,½ tsp ground peppercorns , mix well

STEP 08

Add 1 cup of diced tomato mix well,

STEP 09

Add the cooked beef and mix well with masala

STEP 10

Add 1 cup of hot water and cook for 5mins

STEP 11

Add ½ tsp garam masala and mix well

STEP 12

Add more curry leaves and grounded spices 1tsp , cook it for 5mins until the curry gets thick

STEP 13

Serve with bread or rice
