STEP 1.Always take fresh louki. Rinse the louki under water. Peel the skin and grate it with grater and squeezed it.
STEP 2.Bring 1litre full fat milk in a heavy bottomed kadai. When the milk boil reduce the flame. The milk must reduce to half. Then add squeezed and grated louki. Cook stirring continuously on a medium to low flame for 10minutes. When milk is absorbes fully then add sugar.
STEP 3.Sugar will release water. Cook the halwa for 5minute on low flame by continuous stirring.
STEP 4.Add milk powder. Again cook the halwa until the halwa turns thick. Add ghee and mix it in halwa very well.Add cardemom powder.
STEP 5.Pour the halwa in plate and garnish with sliced pista and silver foil.
