Ingredients for Suji balls Recipe

  • 0.67 cup suji coarse
  • 1.33 Cups Two glass water
  • 0.33 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.17 teaspoon Chilli flakes
  • 0.17 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1.33 Pieces curry patta
  • 0.33 Tbsp Green Coriander leaves
  • 0.33 teaspoon Sesame seeds
  • 0.33 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 0.33 Pieces reen chiili
  • 0.33 Tsp Crushed ginger

Directions: Suji Balls Recipe

  • STEP 1.Dry roast the suji or rava. Add 1teaspoon oil in kadai, add 1teaspoon jeera and mustared seeds. Let them splutter. Further add crushed ginger and deseeded green chilli and saute them. Now add 4 cup water. Get the water to rapid boil. Add chilli flakes, tumeric powder and salt in water.
  • STEP 2.Add roasted suji and mix continuously till suji absorb all water. Cover the kadai with lid for 5minutes.
  • STEP 3.Transfer the suji mixture to a large plate and allow it to cool for 15minutes. Knead the suji into a dough. Now make small suji balls from the suji mixture. Make sure there are no cracks in the suji balls.
  • STEP 4.Steam the balls on medium flame for 10minutes.Transfer the suji balls in a plate. Let them cool for 15minutes.
  • STEP 5.Add 1teaspoon oil in kadai. Add mustard seeds and sesame seeds and curry patta and kashmiri lal mirch powder. Mix them well, add suji balls and cook for 5minutes on low flame. Garnish the balls with chopped coriander leaves.Yummy suji balls are ready.
