Directions : Beef Patty Recipe

STEP 1.chop your onions, garlic, chilies, thyme, scallions and ginger. Put these into a food process and grind it so that they are chunky. Season it with some paprika , allspice , onion powder and garlic powder .

STEP 2.Take some flour in a bowl and add salt , sugar , turmeric powder , curry powder , baking powder and mix well. Now add shortening to the mixture and break it in with your fingers. In a separate bowl mix egg , water and white vinegar .

STEP 3.Combine the wet and dry ingredients together. Knead it into a dough and cover with cling wrap , Refrigerate it for 30 minutes. Divide the dough into smaller pieces and flatten it with a rolling pin to give a rectangular shape. Place the filling in the centre and fold your patty into half.

STEP 4.Seal the patty with the help of a fork and place it on a baking tray . Pop the tray into the oven for 20-25 minutes. Serve it with your favourite sauce.
