Ingredients for Beef Patty Recipe

  • 1.33 cup roughly chopped scallions
  • 0.67 cup diced white onion
  • 4 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 4 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 No.s garlic clove, minced
  • 1 No.s scotch bonnet pepper
  • 1 inch peeled ginger
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 900 gram ground beef
  • 0.67 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 0.67 cup beef stock
  • 2 tablespoon Browning
  • 3.50 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4.75 teaspoon instant unflavored gelatin
  • As required For Crust
  • 4 cup All purpose flour
  • 7 teaspoon Granulated Sugar
  • 5 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1.50 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup cold shortening
  • 345 gram cold beef suet
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 No.s large egg

Directions: Beef Patty Recipe

  • STEP 1.chop your onions, garlic, chilies, thyme, scallions and ginger. Put these into a food process and grind it so that they are chunky. Season it with some paprika , allspice , onion powder and garlic powder .
  • STEP 2.Take some flour in a bowl and add salt , sugar , turmeric powder , curry powder , baking powder and mix well. Now add shortening to the mixture and break it in with your fingers. In a separate bowl mix egg , water and white vinegar .
  • STEP 3.Combine the wet and dry ingredients together. Knead it into a dough and cover with cling wrap , Refrigerate it for 30 minutes. Divide the dough into smaller pieces and flatten it with a rolling pin to give a rectangular shape. Place the filling in the centre and fold your patty into half.
  • STEP 4.Seal the patty with the help of a fork and place it on a baking tray . Pop the tray into the oven for 20-25 minutes. Serve it with your favourite sauce.
