Directions : Penne Arrabiata Recipe

STEP 1.1. In a medium oven, warm the olive oil and add garlic and cook for 10 minutes.

STEP 2.Drain the tomatoes and roughly chop them. Pour the tomato in a pot with olive oil and add fennel seeds, red pepper, red wine, 1 tbsp salt and 1 tbsp black pepper. Bring to boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Stir in basil and seasoning.

STEP 3.Meanwhile bring a pot of water to boil and add 2 tbsp kosher salt and the penne and cook.

STEP 4.Take out the pasta when done and add it to the sauce along with ¼ cup of pasta water. Simmer for 2-3 minutes and pasta is ready to be served.
