STEP 1.Mix onions, coconut, salt, sugar, and lime juice in a bowl.
STEP 2.Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
STEP 3.When the oil is hot, add asafetida, curry leaves, and green chilies and let them crackle for 4-5 seconds.
STEP 4.Add turmeric powder to the pan and saute for 6-8 seconds.
STEP 5.Pour the tempering over the onion coconut mixture and mix well.
STEP 6.Add poha chivda to the bowl and mix well. Serve immediately.
