• 2 teaspoon Ghee use oil for a vegan version
• 2 tablespoon Water

• 0.5 cup Coconut grated. if you are using frozen coconut, thaw it to room temperature
• 1 cup Rice flour i used store bought rice flour. you can use idiyappam flour also
• 1.25 cup Water refer notes
• 1 teaspoon Gingelly oil
• 0.25 teaspoon Salt
• 3 tablespoon Gingelly oil for greasing the mold and steaming plates
