Directions : Chinese Spicy Soup Recipe

STEP 1.1 in a mixing bowl add 100 ml cold water and 150 gm plain flour and mix to make a thick sticky texture.

STEP 2.2 heat oil in a wok and fry ½ tsp ground sichuan peppercorns,finely chopped 3 mm ginger, finely chopped 2 cloves. Stir for a few seconds.

STEP 3.3 then add 2 tbsp garlic & chilli sauce and fry for a few seconds.

STEP 4.4 add 600 ml chicken sauce and mix well. Bring it to a boil.

STEP 5.5 using chopsticks add small amounts of the flour mixture to the boiling soup.

STEP 6.6 add salt to taste.

STEP 7.7 cover and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.

STEP 8.8 lastly add 2 spring onions and 5 stems of coriander finely chopped.

STEP 9.9 transfer to a bowl and serve.
