Directions : Chakka Vilayichathu Recipe

Cooking Directions

STEP 1.In a pan melt down 250gm jaggery with ½ cup of water. Filter the jaggery syrup.
STEP 2.Cook the jaggery syrup further with 1 cup of grated coconut, and 1tsp of powdered spices.
STEP 3.Saute till the jaggery syrup is fully absorbed by the grated coconut. Now add 2 cups of chopped jackfruits and mix well.
STEP 4.Continue stirring till the jackfruit is properly coated with the rest of the ingredients and turn a brown shade.
