  • 1 cup Ripe Jackfruit, Chopped
  • 1/2 cup Jaggery, Grated
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • 5 Cashews
  • 5 Raisins

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Remove the seeds and skin from the jackfruit and chop it into small pieces.
  • STEP 2.Cook the jackfruit pieces in a pressure cooker with water until soft.
  • STEP 3.Mash the cooked jackfruit into a smooth paste.
  • STEP 4.In a separate pan, melt ghee and roast cashews and raisins until golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Add the mashed jackfruit to the pan and mix well.
  • STEP 6.Add jaggery and coconut milk to the pan and cook on low heat until the mixture thickens.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with roasted cashews and serve hot or chilled.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to use ripe jackfruit for the best flavor.
  • Adjust the sweetness according to your preference by adding more or less jaggery.
  • You can also add cardamom powder for extra flavor.
