• piece Ham hock bacon pieces, or bacon grease for seasoning
• 1 Small onion chopped
• 2 cup Chopped okra
• 1 cup Celery chopped
• 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
• 0.5 teaspoon Minced garlic
• 0.5 teaspoon Chili powder
• 2 Bay leaves
• 4 ounce 1 can green chilis, drained
• 14.5 ounce 1 can chicken broth
• 14.5 ounce 1 can petite diced tomatoes, undrained
• 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
