STEP 1.1 chop and wash the leaves in a bowl of water.
STEP 2.2 boil some water in a pan and add chana dal and turnip to it. Cook it till the dal turns soft.
STEP 3.3 now add the chopped leaves to the pan and cook for 5 minutes.
STEP 4.4 take it out in a bowl and let it cool for a while.
STEP 5.5 blend it into a smooth paste using a blender with a little water.
STEP 6.1 heat some ghee in a pan and add chopped garlic, onion, green chillies and chopped ginger.
STEP 7.2 once it gets slightly cooked add corn flour into it.
STEP 8.3 cook it for two minutes and add the prepared paste to it.
STEP 9.4 cook it for 10-12 minutes and your saag is ready to be cooke
