Ingredients for Sarson ka Saag Makki ki Roti Recipe

  • 33.33 g Spinach
  • 33.33 g Bathua
  • 33.33 g Fenugreek leaves
  • 33.33 g Sarso (Mustard leaves)
  • 2 Tbsp Ginger paste
  • 3.33 Pieces Garlic cloves
  • To Taste Salt
  • 3.33 Pieces Green chilli
  • 0.67 Tbsp Maize flour
  • 1.33 Tbsp Ghee
  • 0.33 Tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 Pieces Dry red chilli
  • 0.67 Pieces Onion
  • 0.33 Pieces Tomato
  • 0.33 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 0.33 Tsp Coriander powder
  • 0.67 Cups Makki ki atta
  • As Required Hot water

Directions: Sarson Ka Saag Makki Ki Roti Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash all the leaves very well & then chop it .
  • STEP 2.Bring to boil 2glass of hot water & then add all chopped leafy veggies, grated ginger, chopped garlic ,green chilli & salt. Let it boil & then mash the dash properly.
  • STEP 3.Add 2tbspn water in maize flour & make a batter of it.
  • STEP 4.Add the batter in saag mixture. It will give a fine binding & taste. When it will get mashed then switch off the flame.
  • STEP 5.In another pan heat ghee & add cumin seeds, dry red chilli , green chilli,chopped onion, tomato, ginger paste & chopped garlic. Saute it for few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Finally add mashed saag & coriander powder. If you want you can add extra ghee over it.
  • STEP 7.Sarson ka saag is ready now.
  • STEP 8.For Makki ki roti add hot water in atta ,cover it & keep rest for 10mins.
  • STEP 9.After that knead it well.
  • STEP 10.Take small portion from dough & roll it.
  • STEP 11.Heat ghee in a pan & roast the roti from both sides.
  • STEP 12.Makki ki roti & Sarson ka saag is ready to serve now.
  • STEP 13.Add extra butter on saag & enjoy it with onion & green chilli.
