A very popular prawns curry recipe prepared from marinating prawns from turmeric and salt. Then cooked in blended paste, ginger garlic paste and tomatoes. Garnished with coriander leaves.
STEP 1.Take a bowl of prawns and add some salt in it and add some turmeric powder and set aside
STEP 2.Grind a small onion, garlic, cinnamon, cloves, coconut, tomatoes, pepper, cumin seeds and grind well.
STEP 3.Take a pan and heat some oil, add curry leaves, fennel seeds, then add some onions and fry till transparent. Then add ginger garlic paste for a minute.
STEP 4.Then add tomatoes and saute till it turns mushy.
STEP 5.Add the prawns in the pan and saute for 2 minutes. Then add red chilli powder until the prawns starts shrinking and cook for say 3 minutes.
STEP 6.Prawns let out water so add water accordingly. Cook until prawns are cooked to soft. now add the coconut paste. add little water if the curry is too thick.
STEP 7.Allow it to boil in simmer and get cooked until oil separates. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and switch it off.
STEP 8.The curry is served with rotis and rice.
