  • 125 gram Fish
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 0.13 teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds
  • as required A Few Curry Leaves
  • 1/4 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Tomatoes, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
  • 1/2 tablespoon Coconut Paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the fish with turmeric powder and salt.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and temper mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 3.Add onions, tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add tamarind pulp, coconut paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Add the marinated fish and cook until it is tender and the flavors are well blended.
  • STEP 6.Serve Meen Kuzhambu hot with steamed rice or idli.
