My personal healthy twist to the traditional masala idlis. Just replace rice with millets of your choice while making the batter. It's that simple π. #cookwithslurrp #ushacookofficial
STEP 1.Wash all the ingredients and soak them for 6-8 hours (soaking time for millets should be 6-8 hours atleast, rest ingredients can do with 30 minutes).
STEP 2.Add a little salt and water to this and grind into a batter. Then leave it to ferment for 8 hours or overnight. If it's winters or cold weather then will require more time to ferment.
STEP 3.After fermentation the fluffy batter rises and is ready for use. You can make idlis, dosa and uttapam from this batter. I personally make idlis and then stir fry them in onions and spices to make delicious masala idlis π.
