As required For pasta:
1 cup Pasta: (any type)
7 cups Water: –
As required Salt: ½ tsp (for boiling pasta)
As required For Veggies (optional but recommended):
1 tsp Oil or butter:
1 nos Onion: small
As required Chopped
As required Capsicum: ¼ to ½
As required Chopped
As required Carrot: ½
As required Chopped
5 tbsp Sweet corn: –(boiled or frozen)
As required Salt: a pinch
As required Pepper or chilli flakes (optional): a pinch
As required For white sauce:
1 tbsp Butter:
1 tbsp All-purpose flour (maida):
1 cup milk:
As required Salt: ¼ tsp (adjust to taste)
As required Black pepper: a pinch
3 tbsp Grated cheese (optional): or cheese cube
3 tbsp Saved pasta water: –(only if needed to adjust thickness)

Directions: One Pot White Sauce Pasta #aptivate Recipe
STEP 1.Boil 1 cup pasta in 3–4 cups water + ½ tsp salt
Cook for 8–10 mins, strain, and keep aside
Save 2 tbsp pasta water
Sauté Veggies in same pot - Heat 1 tsp oil or butter
Add chopped onion, carrot, capsicum, corn
Add a pinch of salt and pepper
Sauté for 3–5 mins, remove and keep aside
Make White Sauce
Add 1 tbsp butter in the same pot
Add 1 tbsp maida, stir for 1 min
Slowly add 1 cup milk, stirring constantly
Cook until sauce thickens (3–5 mins)
Add ¼ tsp salt, pinch of pepper, and cheese if using
Mix Everything - Add sautéed veggies and boiled pasta
Mix well and cook for 1–2 mins
Add a splash of saved pasta water if sauce is too thick
