Ingredients for Millet Masala Idlis πŸ˜‹ Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Little millet
  • As required ΒΌ cup urad dal
  • 1/2 tbsp Poha
  • As required Β½ tsp methidana

Directions: Millet Masala Idlis πŸ˜‹ Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash all the ingredients and soak them for 6-8 hours (soaking time for millets should be 6-8 hours atleast, rest ingredients can do with 30 minutes).
  • STEP 2.Add a little salt and water to this and grind into a batter. Then leave it to ferment for 8 hours or overnight. If it's winters or cold weather then will require more time to ferment.
  • STEP 3.After fermentation the fluffy batter rises and is ready for use. You can make idlis, dosa and uttapam from this batter. I personally make idlis and then stir fry them in onions and spices to make delicious masala idlis πŸ˜‹.
