12 nos medium ripe tomato (or – cherry tomatoes)
1 nos Garlic Clove
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
7 nos – fresh basil leaves
As required A pinch of salt
As required Optional: pinch of black pepper or balsamic glaze
Directions: Bruschetta Recipe
STEP 1.1. Toast the bread
STEP 2.Toast the 3 slices on a pan or in the oven until lightly golden.
STEP 3.While warm, gently rub half a garlic clove over each slice.
STEP 4.2. Make the topping
STEP 5.Finely chop tomato.
STEP 6.Chop basil.
STEP 7.Mince the remaining garlic.
STEP 8.Mix tomato + basil + minced garlic + olive oil + salt (and pepper if you like).
STEP 9.Let sit 5–10 minutes for flavor.
STEP 10.3. Assemble
STEP 11.Spoon the mixture onto each toasted slice.
STEP 12.Optional: tiny drizzle of olive oil or balsamic glaze.
